history of matka

Matka began as a number-guessing game in Mumbai in the 1960s. Over the years it grew into several markets, each with its own timing and name, and it moved to newspapers and then to online results.

Today the game is restricted or banned in many parts of India and other countries. Anyone who plays should check the law where they live.
